Here are a few examples of my Street Painting work, done with pastel on concrete. It is always a good time to share this art form with the public - a form of performance art. This portfolio consists mostly of experimental work, where I have no plan and begin by observing the colors that move me. Other works start with a definite plan, as mandated by particular festivals, and come to a finish based on my own original designs, with some wiggle room in the color choice. Most of these works are quite large (8' x 8') and above, with a few smaller ones from one day events. I love creating masks, stylized faces, using bright colors, experimenting and working in different styles. It is always interested to see how a piece will look in the end, especially working with the outdoor elements - heat and otherwise. This portfolio will be updated on a regular basis, based on my event participation.
